The Consequence of Breaking Spritual Laws...
Do you believe in the inerrancy of the Christian Bible? Were it not so, then our belief system would be baseless with respect to acknowledging that God, Jesus Christ, the prospect of everlasting life, etc...actually exists. Otherwise, our belief system is based solely on nothing but the "world according to us." It would be the equivalent of declaring ourselves god.
The evidence of the Bible's truth and inerrancy is demonstrated through the validity of 6000+ years of verifiable historical record, the confirmation of prophecies already fulfilled, as well as an individual's internal spiritual realization that the Bible is true and legitimate in its entirety.
Those who are spiritually open will recognize the Bible as truth. Those who are not, but whose beliefs are grounded in the wisdom of the World, will not recognize the spiritual truths in the Bible, and they will reject the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. If rejecting the inerrancy of the Christian Bible, then that entails rejection of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and as savior of the world from the consequences of sin.
Acts 28:26-27...“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.” For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes."
Just as there are the consequences of breaking physical laws, such as jumping off a high cliff would likely result in physical death or great bodily injury, the breaking of spiritual laws carry an even greater permanent, irreversible consequence.
When we die, the essence of our being is preserved spiritually, and if we are legitimate believers in Jesus Christ as savior of mankind, we are forgiven, and our transgressions while physically living are pardoned, if we adhere to the requirements outlined by Jesus in the Christian Bible.
Everlasting life is a gift of God that depends on our acceptance of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God because the entirety of the Bible points to Jesus Christ as savior of mankind, and within the Bible God refers to the Bible as his inerrant Word, inspired by God through his prophets.
If we deny the inerrancy of the Bible, which is also a rejection of the claims made by Jesus within the Bible, then we suffer the consequences of violating spiritual laws, whose results are just as certain as if we violated physical laws to the extent that it results in our physical death.
Hebrews 9-27 “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this, the judgment." So, physical death is not the end of life. We are all going to transition from physical life to a spiritual existence. Our souls are the spiritual existence that is the true essence of our being.
The Bible is quite clear that the consequences of having violated spiritual laws during our physical existence, without accepting Jesus Christ as the Son of God and receiving Him as our Savior from sin, will result in judgement. If convicted of sin, our spiritual existence will be lived separated from God, spent in torment, and in constant anguish for eternity.
If we reject the truths of the Bible, which means we reject Jesus as the Son of God whose sacrifice on the cross and resurrection are believed as mere myths, then we consciously choose our own eternal fate, which is condemnation for violating spiritual laws.
This condemnation is not a prerogative of God, but the result of spiritual laws, laws that carry the same definitive result as if we violated the physical laws of gravity by jumping off a twenty story building.
It is God's preference that we accept the Bible, it's truths and its instruction as the Word of God, infallible and literally true in every respect. God doesn't desire that we experience the penalties of violating His spiritual laws, but they are laws, laws that God can't repeal without losing his trustworthiness and righteousness.
Luke 13:28 "“There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, for you will see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, but you will be thrown out."
